What We Believe

  • We believe that God so loved the world, that He gave the only begotten Son, that whoever believes shall not perish but have eternal life. Therefore we are called to love one another, all people, in the same way that God first loved us and we are called to proclaim the Good News of God’s saving grace.
  • We believe that through the cross, Jesus provides for us the gift of salvation and eternal life. We also believe that during His life on earth, He spoke less about how we ought to believe, and more about how we ought to live. Therefore, we are called to live our lives, and our faith, following the teachings of Christ. Loving, forgiving, and serving one another in the same way, and with the same generosity with which God loved, forgave and served us.
  • We believe that the Holy Spirit was, and is always with us, offering us strength to live our faith. and trusting in God, even when we are overwhelmed with doubts and fears. Therefore, we are called to stand with, comfort, and encourage one another in our lives and in our struggles of faith as together we strive to serve God.
  • We believe that all people are created in the image and after the likeness of God! Therefore, ALL people are welcome into the full life and fellowship of Peace Church!  We offer our welcome:
