Who We Are

As members of Peace United Church of Christ, we belong to a nationwide community of faith.  We belong to a community of faith that has a long history that reaches as far back as the Mayflower.  And locally, we belong to a community of faith that has been serving Denver, Adamstown and surrounding communities for almost 300 years.

As members of Peace United Church of Christ, we belong to a local gathering of people – some who have been lifelong members of both the church and the community and some who have moved into our community and joined our fellowship at different stages of their lives.  We are people from different faith traditions who have chosen to unite together as one people of faith.

As members of Peace United Church of Christ, we are a congregation of faithful people open and committed to welcoming ALL people into this fellowship so that together we might live out in very real and practical ways the love of God and the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Following in the footsteps of our Savior, who welcomed all people, we are a body of faith where no one is ever excluded.

Therefore, wherever you are in your life’s journey or your faith journey, you are welcome here, so that together we may explore and learn more about the abundant love and grace of our God.
