Dear fellow members of Peace UCC congregation,
In our search for an organist/pianist to continue our “music tradition” here at Peace UCC, we may need to be very flexible.
This could involve —
1- having “live” music a couple of Sundays each month with recorded music on the other Sundays.
2- having “live” music most weeks with two (or more) pianists/organists sharing the duties.
3- having strictly piano music with no organ music for a period of time.
4- sharing and organist/pianist with another church.
The option to “share” an organist/pianist with another church is where we need everyone’s input.
If we could share an experienced organist/pianist with another church, but it required changing the times of our services to 8:30-9:30 for traditional service and 10:30-11:30 for contemporary service, would you be willing to switch your time of worship?
